FEATURED PROJECTS
Modern Pollinator Front Yard - Beaumont/Wilshire

Tally's low maintenance and drought tolerant garden was designed to match her lifestyle of travel adventure, while also offering year round colorful flowers for pollinators. Blue-green foliage, cast slabs, and steel edging bring a modern aesthetic that compliments the Mid-Century Modern styling of her home.
Low Maintenance Xeriscape - North Tabor

A low maintenance design for plants that can handle heat was needed for a hands-off rental property. A massive slope of ivy was replaced with xeriscaped retaining walls that give a wild effect with texture and color throughout the year. This yard receives zero supplemental water and the plants thrive.
Aging in Place with Elegance - Irvington

Planning a garden in the later years of life merits different questions and goals. In this garden, we focused low-maintenance shrubs and perennials around a three-tiered round paver patio for easy accessibility and care. There's still lots of room to play with growing cut flowers for Liz's Ikebana class.
Suburban Oasis Garden - Camas, WA

A transformed space for play and retreat for a young family in a quiet suburban neighborhood, with lots of sensory plants, privacy hedges, and reduced lawn size for easier maintenance. This project is in process, plants coming in Spring!
DESIGN - Edible + Medicinal Homestead

A design focused on edible and medicinal plants using permaculture concepts for a young family moving to a large chunk of land with big garden dreams. This example showcases the details of a design presentation for DIY clients.
Northwest Understory - Lake Oswego

Under the canopy of three different types of fir trees and hemlocks, native plants and NW favorites that thrive in shade like Rhododendrons and Hydrangeas act as a natural, low-maintenance understory that adds an organic dimension to the astro turf lawn selected for a busy family.
Dynamic Micro Welcome Garden - Gresham

A free design plan for a Black Resilience Fund recipient who wanted something a little more exciting than a patchy grass lawn. Lonitah's lots of bold purples and blues, and unique salvaged materials made this welcome garden extra special.
