GARDEN DESIGN
To help bring your garden vision to life, I begin with an in-person garden consultation to generate a bid and create a design concept for your space. From there, a second site meeting for measurements and site analysis allows me to build a custom design plan with a plants and materials list. I provide both a hands-off option for plant procurement and plant placement/installation, or a D.I.Y. approach where you can shop and plant on your own and utilize a coaching session for any additional help needed. Referrals to contractors and project management is available if you need guidance through the installation process. A final walkthrough with care instructions and maintenance plan to ensure garden success is included.
Price range: $800-5,000 ($90/hour) depending on
yard size and plan complexity
COACHING
My aim as a gardening coach is to help you learn how to observe the ecosystem of your yard and be a more confident and connected steward of the land. I also help with tasks you don't have time for or need a little extra help with, like:
- Plant suggestions
- Plant shopping
- Plant placement and planting tutorial
- Starting a vegetable or herb garden
- How to plant, water, and maintain your garden, with seasonal task emphasis
- Soil and organic amendment suggestions
- Pest and weed identification and management plan
$75/hour
CONSULTATION
The best place to start is a one hour, in-person garden walk-through to go over questions about the landscape and existing plants, explore problems and ideas, and visualize garden goals. A written report with detailed notes from the meeting is included. This initial consultation is a prerequisite for garden design or garden coaching, but can also be utilized as a stand-alone service. This is a great option for new homeowners who want to orient themselves with their space and get maintenance advice.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
& PLANT INSTALLATION
I'll provide referrals for trusted contractors and work closely with them to ensure implementation of the design, going over any challenges or changes to the plan with you throughout the process.
Whether you hire a contractor or dive in with a shovel on your own, I can help with plant procurement and placement, or full plant installation. The most fun option is for us to plant side by side on planting day!

MAINTENANCE &
GARDEN EDITING
I am currently only offering maintenance to existing clients.
However, if you need some help editing/re-thinking your garden, I'm here to help! This often looks like a "gardening buddy" session where I get down into the dirt alongside you to remove/rearrange things that aren't working and add some new plant friends where a design is not necessary.
$75/hour with minimum 2 hours booked
