Homestead
Design
Below are sample slides from a design presentation sent to a client. Along with a design concept and planting map/list, plant images, design explanations, and action plans are included, with lots of opportunities for discussion to ensure the client approves of the plan and understands it so that they can implement it on their own if they are Do-It-Yourself'ers.
This project on a rural property in Laurel is an exciting (and mostly DIY) Homestead project for a young family who recently moved outside of the city to become more connected to the land and grow their own food. They needed layout and guidance to get them going on what felt like a daunting space to approach.
